Many of you connect your DocuSign account to Gino, and some of you have flagged a gap: not all DocuSign features were available from within Gino.
This is something we're actively working on — our goal is to give you access to the full capabilities of your DocuSign account inside Gino, without compromise.
The EU electronic seal is now available as a signature mode in your workflows.
What is it?
Until now, when a document required an internal signature, an identified user had to sign it manually through DocuSign. For standardized outgoing documents — where the signature doesn't need to be tied to a specific person — this was a repetitive and avoidable step.
You can now replace that individual signature with an electronic seal, applied automatically. The document is validated without manual intervention, while remaining fully traceable.
How to set it up
Configuration happens at three levels:
At the Gino platform level, in administration — an administrator enables the "EU electronic seal" option in the DocuSign settings and enters the SealName (the seal identifier on the DocuSign side).
At the domain level — each domain can enable a different seal. A "Seal active" badge appears on the relevant domains. Subdomains inherit their parent's status, with the option to disable it individually.
At the workflow level — in the signature tab, two modes are available: Internal signer (current behavior) or Seal. In Seal mode, no user selection is required.
What changes day to day
When launching a flow in Seal mode: no need to choose an internal signer. A summary displays the configured SealName and anchor, with a message confirming that the document will be signed automatically.
After signature: the tracking view shows "🔏 Seal applied on [date]" along with the seal name. The visual representation is distinct from a human signature — no ambiguity in the history.
Please note
The document sent for signature must contain the required signature placeholders.
What's next?
The electronic seal is the first step toward a deeper DocuSign integration. The goal remains the same: to let you fully leverage your DocuSign account without leaving Gino. More updates will follow — we'll keep you posted.
